Because we charge $65.00 an hour, you are not restricted to just having a home page, one loading graphic and an email link like so many other companies offer. Our rate allows us to design your Web site freely and with your goal in mind. We also offer comprehensive Web packages.
How much will it cost for monthly or quarterly maintenance?
The Computer Workshop does not charge monthly or quarterly fees. You only pay when there are changes or updates to be made. It is done on an hourly basis at $65.00, billed in 1/2 hour increments.
I want a domain name for my
company, instead of using my personal Web space with my Internet Service
Provider (ISP). Can you do this?
As our client, there
is no fee for us to research your name. Please understand
there is a difference between a domain name and using your personal
ISP Web space.
A domain name is professional looking and is easier for search engines to locate your Web site and list them for Internet users to find your company. An example of this is: www.yourcompanyname.com
Using your ISP Web space still allows clients to view your Web site, but search engines have trouble locating them, since most ISP providers use the symbol ~ along with your email name. An example of this is: www.abc_isp.net/~companyname/index.html
When it comes time to register your name, we use a company to handle the registration and fees. The Computer Workshop does not receive any part of the fees nor a kickback. You will pay the company who is registering your name directly.
